This was quite a satisfactory Christmas for Father Barbour, all things considered. Once again, he surrounded himself with his beloved family, and it was a joyous reunion. Pinky was missing of course, but the young man is working industriously in an Oregon lumber camp, which augers well for his future. Also missing was Elwood, but even that had its compensations, for it solved an awkward situation...
