When a jewellery shop is held up it has all the hallmarks of Luke Morton however the various witness descriptions of the perpetrator don't match so they have nothing to go on. Then Helen Forest, a police stenographer claims that she knows it was Luke Morton as she has ESP and is on Morton's wavelength. With nothing else to go on the police decide to check out her claims when she connects to Morton's waves.
