California and Hoppy were a tired pair of cow pokes as they'd ridden their way along the moonlit trail after the Rutledge Ranch. A long day in the saddle sure made them look forward to the Rutledge hospitality. The lights of the ranch house marked the end of their ride - and when they arrived, the hitching post was filled up with several more horses, and there was the sound of a fiddle playing. In fact, it sounded like there was a party in full flow!
