"Away All Boarding Parties!" an age-old battle cry which was only heard once in the twentieth century. It was during World War II. Tonight's Cavalcade recreates the action in which that battle cry was heard - when Dan Gallery was the Captain of a ship in the war, whose official name was USS Guadalcanal. However, the men called her 'Can Do'. She was a handy, happy-go-lucky ship, and she didn't know the meaning of the word impossible!
