In a secluded camp beside a small stream, Tonto and the Lone Ranger's nephew, Dan Reid, amused themselves while awaiting the return of the masked rider. Tonto had spent the afternoon making up Dan as an Indian, and as a finishing touch had cleverly painted the head of a buffalo on Dan's forearm. As they hear the approach of the Lone Ranger, they decide to fool him with Dan's disguise.
