And To Think I Saw It On Mulberry Street is a story in rhyme by Dr Seuss a modern illustrator and poet who captures the spirit of whimsy and fantasy and literally lifts us out of this material world landing us gently in the land of make believe. This poem deals with one of New York's oldest metropolitan neighborhoods, Mulberry Street, a busy short thoroughfare made up of people of all tongues and nations, doors, pushcarts tenements, traffic, newsboys, children, merchants all blending their voices to make Mulberry Street what it is. The hero of our story is an eleven year old boy named Marco and his imagination who create a magnificent parade on Mulberry street. Put together with music this is a wonderful rendition of child author Dr Suess's rhymical story telling.
