An old actor and his assistant live in Riversend and never ask for help from anyone. When Judy learns he is ill she persuades Dr Christian to go and visit him as a friend. Dr Christian recognises the actor as Victor Jeremy as he was one of his biggest fans. Once upon a time Victor Jeremy was one of the greatest actors in the world and also one of the greatest rotters. His wife had left him and took his son with him. He thought the best thing he could do was let his son live his life without him but his assistant thought that now his wife had died he should reach out to his son again. Victor Jeremy knowing he had failed as a father did not think it would be right to do so. Dr Christian takes it upon himself to seek out Victor Jeremy's son and tries to reunite them before it is too late.
