Mrs Loftus has been calling the surgery all morning as her child Marina is unwell. Marina has always been so strong so Dr Christian goes straight over. Marina tells Dr Christian that she has something that he can't cure, she has heartache. Her husband Dr Tony Bartlet MD is only interested in money. She relays her story which began on their wedding day when Tony told her then that he was going to be the highest paid doctor in the world. Marina is saddened that her husband seems more interested in making money than caring for the sick and needy.
