A tumbled down ranch house loomed out of the darkness at the side of the trail. Not a single light shone in any of the windows. The Lone Ranger and Tonto reined up and dismounted, when they suddenly heard a woman wailing about death and destruction nearby. On finding her in the ranch house, they discovered that she had been shot!
