Our story today opens at the River's End rail road station, where Dr Christian just returned from an out of town call, is waiting for Judy to pick him up in the car. Sitting next to him on the bench is a pretty young lieutenant of the Women's Army Corps. Dr Christian recognises her as the sweetheart of Mike Taylor.
