In 1898, a great fear raged up and down the Atlantic coast, with the newspapers of New York, Boston and Philadelphia streaming out the headlines of the "Spanish Fleet Headed This Way!" Our Navy were out looking for the Spanish squadron, but the only trouble was, they couldn't find them! They searched the Caribbean and halfway across the Atlantic, and as weeks past, the fear became greater as the people awaited the news of an expected bombardment...
