Eddie is lonely and down at the shooting gallery he meets a stranger called Horace who tells him what he needs is a girl. He and his wife are going fishing the next day with a lady friend and he invites him to come along and make up a foursome. Eddie falls in love with Jolie and within two days proposes to her. The next day the police turn up to tell him that she is dead.
