Four men met in the back room of the Richland City Gazette. The three seated were Jack Brandon; young publisher of the paper, Oscar Graham; weather-beaten cattleman, and Roy Stevens; land and cattle speculator. Elderly Denton Murdock; president of the local bank, was standing as he concluded the speech he'd been making about the current situation in the city, and how it was getting out of hand - even for a good Sheriff like Tom Morley. Cattle rustling, highway robbery, and citizens being robbed in their own homes was just the tip of the iceberg. Agreeing to form vigilante committee was out of the question, but young Brandon had an idea to call for help, and it started with the silver bullet in his hand...
