Mark Adrian was surprised to see Linda when she turned up at his portrait studio. He tells her that after learning that she had had a husband it was over with them and that it had been fun. He tells he he is going to marry Diane and in a rage she gets the gun she knows he keeps in a desk and she shoots him telling him that no one else is going to have him. However unbeknown to Linda the gun had a blank bullet in it and Mark was setting the scene to replace himself with the dead body of Linda’s ex husband.
