Joseph Pulitzer was born in Austria in 1847, and rose to the pinnacle of success. He is an aspiring example of the power of the will to do. Our story begins in St Louis, Missouri in 1868. Two men are talking in the office of the Westliche Post, a German language newspaper. They are the renowned Carl Schurz, and Dr Emil Preetorius, fellow owners of the paper.
