This was the first of the series and was broadcast on the first day of the New Year in 1953. It is a comedy about a young man and his wife, nice people, not rich, not poor happy with each other, you know nice. Gerson and Laurie Haptsmith live in New York where Gerson is an ad man more used to writing the slogans than appearing in the ads. But when he appears in a subway ad wearing a string bow tie the whole female population in New York is in awe of him.
