The police are called to a domestic disturbance when a neighbor hears a man beating up his wife. When the police arrive they find the man has a gun. The wife is more concerned about her husband going to jail and how she is going to manage. The episode covers a case of domestic violence and also the exact opposite when one of the attending cops almost gets in to trouble for his conduct on the case when his reason was to save his own marriage.
