A detective as well-known as Mike Shayne is in the limelight pretty much all of the time. Tonight, Mike isn't in the limelight, but behind the footlights - or rather he is just about to be. A new review is opening at the Empire Theatre, and for reasons still unknown, Mike has been asked to attend the rehearsal. Right now, Mike and his pretty associate are waiting at the stage door...
