You Almost Had Me Blubbering

On Saturday I put a message up asking if anyone would like to phone in with an audio testimonial that we could use on the home page of RUSC. I thought it would be great if people who were thinking about joining could listen to existing members talking about the site.

To be honest I didn't expect anyone to phone up, even though it was a toll-free number. I know how much I hate talking to those pesky answering machines and so I thought you'd all feel the same, but I couldn't have been more wrong.

When I got up on Sunday morning I dashed to my computer to see if anyone had phoned the number and found several messages had already been left. Yippee! I shouted for Joy to come in from the kitchen and we sat and listened to them together.

Your comments were so kind and sincere that Joy had to get a tissue and even I nearly started blubbing for the first time since watching Forrest Gump. You really are the nicest bunch of people in the world. Maybe it is something about old time radio shows that attracts a nicer kind of person, but whatever it is you all seem to have it in spades.
