The Recent Facebook Poll

The results are in from the recent Facebook poll. The question Joy and I asked was "Do you use Facebook, the social media website?"

The results were:-

31.03% - Yes I use Facebook, and have friended RUSC.
15.52% - Yes I use Facebook, but I haven't friended RUSC yet.
53.45% - No, I don't use Facebook.

So it seems a large majority of our RUSC friends don't use Facebook. Am I surprised by this? Actually no, I'm not - as if you're in the older generation like myself - unless you're checking out the photos of friends and family, or you're a die-hard fan of a product or website, you probably already have a busy life. Retirement is non-stop! I mean, how did we ever squeeze the time in for a career? ;-)

The results of the Facebook poll have actually gotten me to wondering about whether any of our RUSC friends even knew the polls on the members' home page existed, and if you have actually used them before?

Most of the time the polls are just for fun, but as Joy and I are always looking at ways to improve RUSC, one fantastic way to get your direct feedback quickly and easily is to ask questions using the website poll. 

So with that in mind... I have set up a new poll, and would really appreciate it if you could quickly let me know if you have used the polls before. The poll is just over to the right of this page...
