Shows For St Patrick's Day

Shows For St Patrick's Day

It's time to put on your green clothes, dig out your lucky shamrock, and pour yourself a Guinness or two.

St. Patrick is the patron Saint of the Irish. He died on March 17 in AD 461 and that day has been commemorated as St. Patrick's Day ever since.

Originally it was very much a localized event that was pretty much exclusively celebrated in Ireland, but today St Patrick's Day is widely celebrated in America and much of the rest of the world by Irish and non-Irish alike, so I thought it would be a good idea to feature some old time radio shows appropriate for the day.

 Happy listening my friends,
