The Mystery of the Slow Server

It seems that the new server is definitely running slower than the previous one was.

The reason for this is a complete mystery as the new one is probably twenty times more powerful, but even though that might be the case the truth is that the download speeds are definitely slower.

That's the bad news. The good news is that it is only a temporary glitch. Some of the senior technicians at the hosting company are taking a detailed look at the various settings at this very moment and have promised to do whatever they can to rectify the situation. This will probably take a couple of days so your patience is very much appreciated.

If they can't fathom what the problem is then I promise I'll remove the new server and reinstate the old one as that will definitely fix the problem.
