Romance Radio
Lots of members have been enjoying the radio stations I've been adding so I've been making a few improvements to the player and the way I set the radio stations up at this end.
The new player has a couple of major benefits.
- The shows that are playing will change very frequently so hopefully you will rarely get a show you’ve already heard.
- This new player will mean I can add the radio stations to the mobile version of the site so you’ll be able to enjoy the radio stations when you’re on the move.
This new player is pretty much identical to the normal player in RUSC. I figured it was better making them the same rather than having two different types.
So far I’ve moved the Comedy and Detective stations over to the new system and I’ve added a brand new radio station.
With Valentine’s Day just a couple of days away Joy has been giving me some not-too-gentle nudges to get a radio station up that focuses on romance.
Of course - with me being of the less fairer sex - I wasn’t the best person to choose the shows, so I looked after all the technical shenanigans whilst Joy - who is of the fairer sex - chose the shows.

Younger listeners (i.e. those under 70) might be surprised to discover that love and romance isn’t a modern invention. Amazingly, it went on quite frequently in the 1930s, 40s and 50s. Who’d have thought! Hopefully, this won’t come as too much of a shock.
