Quiz Show Radio Station

Did you try any of the feel-good old time radio series I suggested in the last editorial, to stave off the January blues?

Joy and I received some really lovely replies in response to the editorial and email, and the voting on the 'What pastime makes you happy?' poll has been the highest we've ever had! Did you cast your vote yet?

We also received some terrific suggestions for other positive pastimes, and one in particular which kept popping up, was taking part in quizzes, completing crossword puzzles, and generally anything to keep the old grey matter ticking over.

So with that in mind, we've got a few little treats in store for you today.

First of all, Joy had a great idea to get a new radio station up. From those clues, I'll bet you can hazard a guess as to what the station is? That's right, it's dedicated to quiz shows!

With quick witted tomfoolery and fun shows such as It Pays To Be Ignorant, to the high-brow intelligence of Information Please, the lightning wit of Groucho Marx with You Bet Your Life, some pretty strange forfeits in Truth or Consequences, and my personal favorite, Quiz Kids, along with many more quiz series, there's plenty to keep you on your toes this month - and it's much better than watching the television!

Next up, I also figured it would be great fun to have a little online old time radio quiz to test everyone’s knowledge too.
