One Friend of RUSC's Memories From The Thrilling Days of Yesteryear

I am very appreciative of all the work you do to make RUSC so enjoyable. I love going there and listening to the shows. I have put a lot of them on CD and I have an mp3 player by my bedside and fall asleep many a night listening to the shows. It is a lot of fun to put the CD's together so that I have a regular program of shows that play one after the other with many different shows to listen to.

It is so much fun to remember way back when I was only 6 years old living on an 87-acre farm in Carrington, Missouri, which is a suburb of Fulton Missouri. We lived in a big three-story old, very old farmhouse with no electricity and no inside plumbing. We had a wood burning stove and mom cooked on a wood burning range in the kitchen.

It was so exciting to be in our room pretending to be asleep and clipping the alligator clip from our crystal radio to the bed springs and tuning in an old time radio show that our dad would not let us listen to because it was too adult for us kids. Shows like, Suspense, The Creaking Door, Escape, Inner sanctum Mysteries, and one of my very favorites, Lights Out.

Just want you to know that there are lots of us older folks that still get a thrill out of the Lone Ranger Rides Again.

God Bless.

Delmar E. O'Bryan Jr.

Happy listening my friends,

Ned Norris
