New Player on Mobile Version

I’m really pleased to announce that I’ve added a brand new player to the mobile version.

It has been quite a challenge as smartphones and tablets vary so much when it comes to browsers and playing audio files.

The new player that has gone live in the mobile version today also has the major benefit of letting you add shows to a playlist - just like you can on the main site.

So, now you can queue up several shows and listen to them all one after the other.

When you add a show to a playlist, a new tab will open up on your mobile browser, which means there’ll be two tabs open; one with the mobile version of the RUSC site in it, so that you can continue browsing, and a second tab that just has the player in it.

I think this new addition to the mobile version really helps to make it almost as good as the desktop version - and hopefully I’ll also have the radio stations working on the mobile version real soon. I’ll make sure to keep you posted.
