Lum And Abner Are Back

It is a while now since we heard from our old pals Lum and Abner down at Pine Ridge. You may remember that the disappointment that no one put in an appearance at the unveiling of the statue Lum planned to present to the citizens of Pine Ridge of himself, “Lum Edwards King of The Hogs” was evidently more than the old fellow could stand. He left the store that afternoon and hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

Abner was worrying himself sick over Lum's disappearance especially as he failed to show for a date with Avelina. Abner decided to put an announcement over the party line asking everybody to be on the lookout for Lum. Three days without his good friend were too much to bear for Abner Peabody.

But you can bet that Lum will be back with some new plan for making money. So don’t forget to look in on Pine Ridge all this week and then each Sunday and Monday thereafter.
