Love Is In the Air!

Love Is In the Air!

Love is in the air! Whether it's flowers, candy, cards, kisses (or even elopement!), Valentine's Day was just as popular way back in the 1930s, 40s and 50s as it is now.

It has probably been forgotten a fair few times by folks over the years too - so all you forgetful husbands and partners out there - this is your official reminder... This coming Tuesday, it's Valentine's Day!

At the home of the Nelsons, they are already at work on 'operation Valentine' - at least David and Ricky are. Candy and flowers won't do for Harriet, so Ozzie is trying desperately to find something original and unusual for Harriet for Valentines Day - but he's been getting nowhere fast.

You can listen to the Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet along with more love stories I will be adding over the weekend.

Meantime, on the day set aside for love, here's...

🤎 a page loaded with lots of romantic old time radio shows

🤎 a brand-new Valentine's Day RUSC radio station to get you in the mood for loving

🤎 a fabulous new Valentine's Day "Who's who" quiz

And of course this Valentine's weekend, don't forget to stop by and listen to favorite comedian Jack Benny who was born on 14th February 1894.

Happy listening my friends,

Ned Norris

P.S. It's not too late to splash out on a RUSC gift subscription, so that your loved one can listen to as many of their favorite old time radio shows as they'd like, anytime, day or night, 24/7!
