Father's Day will be here before you know it, and speaking from my own experience, a well-planned and thoughtful present is way more appreciated than socks, a new necktie, or a bottle of your favorite drink.

Look out for one show in particular from Avalon Time, where Red Skelton entertains with his great stand-up comedy, including jokes about Father's Day. 

All of those shows should give you plenty of escape from the 'real' world, but if you are still itching for more... Joy and I found some more Escape stories in our collection, which I'll be adding this week. They may seem like duplicates, but were actually broadcast from opposite ends of the country - east coast and west coast - and often had different production teams. 

Finally, let me applaud all of the men who have brought up children or who have acted as a Father figure to someone in their lives be it step-father, favorite uncle, big brother or grandfather, I offer you my warmest regards. Hopefully I have covered every good man out there!
