Hello Everyone

I've had a terrible cold this past week. I just haven't been able to shake it. Runny nose, a throat that feels like I've swallowed a razor blade, and one of those frustrating coughs that drive you nuts.

The only consolation is that it's given me a great reason for going to bed early and putting on some of my favorite old time radio shows to cheer me up.

I'm sure many of you will have heard of those books Chicken Soup for the Soul, well for me I've got a whole list of old radio shows that are like chicken soup for my soul and top of that list has got to be The Six Shooter.

Normally, I'm not a huge fan of westerns, unlike Joy, but when I'm feeling all fed up with myself there seems to be nothing better than an episode of The Six Shooter to cheer me up. There's something about James Stewart's voice, isn't there? It's so wonderfully soothing. Just the cure for a blocked-up nose.
