4th July Celebrations!

This week hosts one of the most important days of the year, and one of the most important days in the history of America - our day of Independence.

It was 243 years ago, on July 4, 1776, when the Declaration of Independence was signed by the Continental Congress, and democracy was born. Today thanks to our forefathers we can all celebrate the freedom and spirit of America "land of the free and the home of the brave."

In the years that have followed, fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, fairs, picnics, concerts, baseball games, family reunions, political speeches and ceremonies have all become the tradition we keep alive to celebrate America's birthday.

We've been running a poll to see what you like to do on 4th July, and with an overwhelming percentage, 'Fun with Family and Friends' came out on top - which is exactly what will be happening in the Norris household too!

In Life WIth Luigi, he loves to celebrate Independence Day with a parade, and today he writes a letter to his mama in Italy, that tomorrow is going to be one of the biggest days of his life, because he's going to march, for the first time since he came to America, in the big Fourth of July parade!
