Sadly, we awoke to the news this morning that actress and Hollywood great, Lauren Bacall, has passed away at the age of 89.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1924, she went on to become one of the silver screen's biggest stars, best known for her husky voice and smouldering looks, and a Hollywood career which spanned seven decades!
