The show is a wonderful musical, comedy and drama all in one! It's 1924, and Hannah Adams is a stage-struck Boston blueblood, who has once again been sitting in the audience for Tim O'Connor's stage show. After a chance meeting outside whilst Hannah is sheltering from the rain, the two strike up a conversation which results in Hannah taking Tim home for dinner. One thing leads to another, and before long Hannah is Mrs O'Connor, tagging along to Tim's shows - until she decides to begin an acting career.
