Marshall Matt Dillon is warned by Sheriff Blair from Texas to be on the look out for Jim Wardell a bad guy wanted for murder. He doesn’t look like a bad guy is well dressed, well mannered and softly spoken and doesn’t carry a gun preferring to do his killing with a knife. A nice gentleman called Jack Norman who is new in Dodge bumps in to kitty. Kitty likes him because he’s not like all the other rough guys she comes across in the saloon. However later he gets in to a disagreement at the poker table and pulls a knife. Matt decides to lock him up for a couple of days believing him to be Jim Wardell as he matches the description in every way but name.
