Woodrow Wilson was the 28th President of the United States and was in the White House from 1913 to 1921. This story happened in 1916 when knowing that there was not much chance of America remaining out of the war and not wanting to be the President who sent thousands of young Americans to their death he was ready to hand in his resignation.
