The power of a woman’s face was best described by a man. It was a poet who called the lovely vision of Helen of Troy The face that launched a thousand ships for Helen’s beauty had caused a war and altered the course of history just as the faces of women ever since have changed the destinies of men. You’ll hear a story about another such woman in this Lux Radio Theater presentation of A Woman’s Face, which was a Metro Goldwyn Mayer powerful screenplay. The course of a man or woman’s life is determined by strange things like the facial scar which has warped the soul of the woman in this play but the story of her regeneration is stranger still.
