A fanciful melodrama written by A M Sullivan, President of the Poetry Society for America. It's the story of Baldy Frome, a highly successful safe-breaker, who was known as 'The Eagle' because he never committed a robbery without leaving a deliberate signature - the rough outline of a bird's head. A strangely touching crime story, told beautifully.
