In the files of your FBI there are many types of rackets running the gamut from quick money swindles to full-bodied schemes planned for high stakes. The latter type was practiced by an unscrupulous attorney called Walter Merit who worked each scheme as thoroughly as the most intricate court room defence. Shortly after the death of the wealthy client, Merit would communicate with a person carefully screened out of his client's past, and shortly after that, the carefully screened person would communicate with the client's sole beneficiary...
