Senator Dean Edwards has a visit from Mr and Mrs Hendrickson from the small town of Pembleton. They are concerned that with most of the area now de-forested, just miles and miles of stumps, that the mills are going to shut down and nobody wants to live in a graveyard town. The land has been run down and is now included in a plan for public acquisition which means they will lose their homes.
