Everything in connection with Lum and Abner's proposed movie theater is moving according to schedule, with the possible exception of the problem of finding someone to operate the projection machine. Cedric was slated for the job, but so far has been unable to master the mysteries of the machine. As we look in on the little community today, we find the old fellows in the store and library discussing the theater.
