Sam Hardy and Bill Sayer were best friends. That night they spent together playing cards. Sam drank too much and they all lectured him. Sam got annoyed when Bill told him if he kept on drinking and working too hard he wouldn’t live much longer then Sam bet Bill a $1000 that he would out live him. Later that night Sam is murdered.
