Lamont and Margo have gone to a mysterious island to find their artist friend and won’t leave without him despite the weird White witch creating a storm to drive them away. They hide in a cave and are warned about the living dead who are the royal family of Lawaiki. When the white witch took over the natives rebelled and sent them to their death in a blazing canoe but they come back at night to roam the island the living dead.

Unable to scare them in to leaving the white witch decides that Lamont and Margo must die the same horrible death as their artist friend.
