The writer of this play is John Lee Auberg young Californian writer who won the $2000 Dr Christian award for 1942.

The principal characters in the play in addition to Dr Christian are four soldiers Sergeant Baker, Corporal Winasocky, Private Streeter and Private Swinson. Other characters are Mayor John Hewitt, Mrs Lavilla Cartwright and Abner Pemberton.

A big rally is to be held to end the week of  raising awareness of the war bond sales week. The committee want to get some big stars to help promote it then Dr Christian comes takes this as an opportunity to do something he has wanted to do for some time.
