We Hold These Truths was a special program commemorating the 150th anniversary of the ratification of the Bill of Rights (12/15/1791). It was presented over the combined radio networks of the United States of America and, as well as hearing from the people of America, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt speaks from the White House in Washington DC.

The National Anthem is performed by the NBC Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Leopold Stokowski and comes to you from New York.

The Hollywood portion of the program was written and directed by Norman Corwin.
