A small herd of thirsty cattle were drinking at a pool, the only water for scores of miles, in a range burnt ground after a prolonged drought. Since Cottonwood creek dried up, this is the only water to be had and all of the ranchers are struggling because their cattle can no longer get access to water. The land it's on belongs to Joel Grier - and he's not being fair with the water supply. But what he doesn't realise is that the pool is spring fed, and that's a fact that may save the herds and make Joel wish he'd been a bit more neighborly…
