Welcome to Springfield and another half hour visit with the folks in the white-framed house on Maple Street. Sit back and enjoy life with the Andersons, Kathy, Bud, Betty, Margaret and Jim, as the head of the household, sets out again to prove that father knows best. Betty comes home with a Toy French Poodle worth over $300 belonging to Mr. Fossett her typing teacher. She’s volunteered to look after it for the night whilst her teacher is away to gain favor, but there’s sure to be fun and trouble as Betty announces that Mr. Fossett loves the dog more than life itself!
