When Van Dyke approached the undertaker with a request for a glass coffin he thought it very strange, particularly as he insisted it be ventilated and connected with some way of communicating from it. Even more disturbing was that he wanted the coffin delivered in two weeks time are declared that he was to be the occupant of that coffin. The undertaker knowing that Lamont Cranston was interested in the strange and weird went to see him.
