The voice of the giant the huge tower clock that overlooks the strange house in the country, the clock whose owner died of a heart attack two weeks ago but now his daughter Charlotte says that she killed him. George Valentine knows that it is Charlotte that needs help and hopes that Claire Brooks alone with her will have better luck talking to her than he did.
