Jack Benny really wants to be on the show but this season Screen Guild are doing a dramatic series and he just wouldn’t fit in. However when Jack found out that film director Ernst Lubitsch was going to direct Claudette Colbert and Basil Rathbone in a dramatic sketch right away he wanted to muscle in on it so he calls up Edward Arnold president of the Screen Actors Guild and tries to sell himself!
