Everyone is talking about the new man has moved to Dos Rios named Doc Stonebender and who has started to option property all over town except for the ones he had already bought up. He offered Chad $350 for an option on his ranch. Doc had looked all over and had come to the conclusion that the valley was going to boom. Chad turned him down and the Doc raised his option to $500. Chad refused stating if he was going to get rich out of Dos Rios so was he.
